Objective: As a tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, and to thank, appreciate, and
honor the amazing work that the teachers do to the society.
Teacher’s Day is a special day for the appreciation of teachers and include celebrations to
honor them for their special contributions in a particular field /area or the community in
general. Teachers’ Day is celebrated on 5th September every year on the occasion of the
birth anniversary of India’s second President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Dr.
Radhakrishnan was of the opinion that teachers should be the best minds in the country.
NSS unit of Diamond College of Commerce & Science organized teacher’s day. All the
members of NSS and officiating principal Prof. Samiha Baig visited Al-Ameen School and
felicitated School principal Nadira Madam. As opening remarks Principal addressed the
gathering and wished all the teachers. She stated that between students and teachers
there must be a “bonding”. Prof Krishna sir, touched upon the remarkable services of Dr.
Sarvepalli Radhkrishnan’s to the nation and teaching community.
We decided that, the responsibility of teaching is taken up by the students as an
appreciation for their teachers. Students went to class to deliver lectures on the ongoing
semester subjects in guidance of respective professor.
