Objective: To celebrate Ganesha festival in an environment friendly way.
NSS unit of Diamond College of Commerce & Science conducted Eco-Friendly Ganesha Environment Protection Awareness Rally on 22nd August 2019 Afternoon. The members of the unit were guided by the NSS Program officer Prof. Jeevan Thorat and other faculty coordinators Prof. Farha Hussain & Prof. Shaziya Khan. With this motive all the volunteers of NSS unit spread across our college campus and neighborhood areas on the ill-effects of using Plaster of Paris Ganesha idols and those painted with artificial colours. Students went around the residential areas of Campus carrying placards and raising slogans to protect environment and use of eco-friendly Ganesha idols.
