1 “Free Coaching and Allied Assistance for Minority Communities based on the Religion”

We are glad to announce that, the DIAMOND AND CHARITABLE EDUCATIONAL TRUST NAGPUR is selected for free coaching belonging minority candidates for entrance examination for admission to Engineering and Medical courses.
The said courses will be conducted at DIAMOND AND CHARITABLE EDUCATIONAL TRUST, Amin Heights Saibaba Chowk, Shanti Nagar,Nagpur-440 002, as a part of “Free Coaching and Allied Assistance for candidates belonging to the minority communities” of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India from January 1, 2013.
Class Hours will be 3-4 hours (6 days in a week). Initial timing will be 2pm-5pm. (On working days, Monday-Saturday). Timing can be adjusted based on mutual consultation of admitted students and suitability of faculty members. Decision of management in this regard will be final.

Disbursement of Stipend:
The candidates shall be provided stipend for the duration of the conducting these courses for the lodging and boarding in the city. The stipend amount of Rs 1500/- per month will be disbursed to the outstation candidate and Rs. 750/- per month for the local candidate for three months by Govt. of India. The bank accounts details are to be submitted in the application form are where the stipend amount will be disbursed.
The last date of receiving application at DIAMOND AND CHARITABLE EDUCATIONAL TRUST, Amin Heights Saibaba Chowk, Shanti Nagar,Nagpur-440 002 is December 15, 2010.
The list of selected candidates will be finalised on the basis of merit.
Candidates, willing to join the courses, should fulfill the following criteria, apply in the prescribed format and qualify as per admission procedure to be followed at DIAMOND AND CHARITABLE EDUCATIONAL TRUST, Amin Heights Saibaba Chowk, Shanti Nagar,Nagpur-440 002.

ELIGIBILITY OF CANDIDATES
Education Qualification: Passed and Appearing in H.S.S.C. (Science)
Identification of Minority Candidates:
The identification of minority candidates is based on the religion of the candidate. The five religions, which come under the Minority Category, are as follows:

1. Muslim
2. Christian
3. Sikh
4. Parsee
5. Buddhism

CRITERIA FOR CANDIDATES SELECTION
1. Candidates must have secured the requisite percentage of marks in the qualifying examination prescribed for admission into the desired courses. All the candidates appeared and passed H.S.S.C. (Science Stream) in the year March 2013. Only candidates belonging to the minority communities, having total family income from all sources not exceeding Rs.2.50 lakh per annum will be eligible under the scheme.
2. Benefits of coaching/training under the scheme can be availed by a particular student once only, irrespective of the number of chances he/she may be entitled to in a particular competitive examination.
3. Students covered under the scheme shall have to attend all classes. No student will be allowed to remain absent for more than 15 days, without any valid reason or leave the coaching/training midway .An undertaking may have to be signed on this by the candidate before admission.
4. 30% of the numbers sanctioned for coaching/training is earmarked for girl students/ candidates. It may be transferred to boy students only in case girl students meeting the standards for coaching/training set by the management were not available.
Admission Process
Application Form
Application form will be available from office of trust from December 1, 2012. Candidates should submit the application form along with attested copies of the caste certificate, annual income statement, declaration, and certificate of minority, education certificates, and 3 nos. passport size photos. The same should reach at Trust Office DIAMOND AND CHARITABLE EDUCATIONAL TRUST, Amin Heights Saibaba Chowk, Shanti Nagar,Nagpur-440 002 by December 15, 2012.
Selection Process:
Merit list will be displayed after the scrutiny of application.
